Jose Mourinho sanctioned the signing of Sharkhter Donesk midfielder, Fred last summer and paid £52 million for his services. The midfielder has however fail to convince even during the period Jose Mourinho was still at the club as he got limited playing time at the club.
The midfielder is still to find his feet and has only completed 90 minutes once since August as he continues to fall short of the mark required.
The arrival of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer have not changed anything about Fred’s performance as he could still not get a full match in the win over Reading. Things might really be going south for the Man United midfielder and could be on his way out of the club at the end of the season.
United beat city rivals, Manchester City to sign the midfielder and now could let him go if the right price is offered. City are having difficulty finding a replacement for Fernandinho which was a reason they have been having transfer target in that form.
Fred could provide the necessary cover for his country man and being a player City manager, Pep Guadiola rate, and a move could be in the card in the summer. It will be a win-win for both party as the player wants a club he will develop to their style and United will be cutting their losses early enough.
