Manchester united coach Jose Mourinho is set to play his strongest side against Stoke city on Sunday following the return of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Luke Shaw to training.

The duo didn’t feature in the team that played against Zorya Luhansk on Thursday night but could play this weekend against stoke city as the premier league campaign continues.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan watched the game from the stands on Thursday night while Shaw missed the game due to an illness. Phil Jones is the only player who is still out due to an injury said the united boss while giving an update on his team.

Jones hasn’t featured for the United’s side since January 2 after picking up a knee injury. Mkhitaryan last featured for United when they lost to Manchester city three weeks ago but he returned to training fully this week.

Shaw last played for United when they lost to Watford two weeks ago and went on to miss victories against champions Leicester city and Northampton after picking up a groin injury before arriving at the training ground few days later with a fever.

Manchester united manager Jose Mourinho described the game against Stoke city as a difficult test despite Stoke city failing to record a win in seven premier league matches this season.

Jose Mourinho stated he was going to play against a good stoke side that has got a good manager and good players.

Speaking about Stoke’s position in the premier league table, Mourinho described the table as just a period and just a moment and Stoke city will get over their present league position.
