Reports indicate, Manchester United are set to let their disappointing flop forward leave Old Trafford on loan this summer window.
According to British media reports, former Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is not part of the plans of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford and he could eventually leave the club on loan next term.
As per the Sun, the 30-year-old South American’s future at Manchester United is in major doubt following his poor form for the side.
The Chile international attacker has struggled to make impact at the club since his transfer from North London club in the winter transfer window a year ago.
The forward is presently ruled out with an injury and time will tell if he will be able to return to the first team squad before the campaign runs out.
As per the same report, Ole Gunner Solskjaer feels that the future of Alexis Sanchez lies away from Old Trafford.
The story goes on to disclose that the Red Devils know that the club would struggle to be able to offload a player on his level of salary, thought to be about £25million yearly.
As a result, the report suggests, the red Devils are willing to let him leave on loan next term in an attempt to “tempt” other teams into a transfer.
Meanwhile, the Red devils were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal – Sanchez former club at The Emirates Stadium on Sunday in the Premier League.
Only time will tell if United’s move will attract suitors for the former FC Barcelona and Arsenal attacker.
